What we collect, what we don't keep, and who at HQ can see it.

This is the real policy, not a placeholder: what Titrate collects to run your workspace, how a question reaches the AI model that drafts an answer, and the mechanism that logs — and shows you — whenever someone on our own team opens your account.

Titrate is pre-launch. What is described here is what it is being built to do, with Jeff Casebolt, PhD (ABD).

The central question

Does the barbell hip thrust produce superior gluteus maximus development — measured either as acute EMG activation or as chronic hypertrophy — compared to the back squat?

What we collect

Account and profile details you give us — name, email, organization. The research questions, documents and positions you put into your own workspace: that is the product, and it stays attached to your account rather than being pooled or resold. Metering data — which model ran a request, how long it took, what it cost — so your allowance and your bill are accurate. We do not sell any of it.

How a research question reaches an AI model

A request is sent to a third-party AI model provider for one purpose: to generate the answer to the specific question you asked. Titrate does not use your content to train any model, ours or anyone else's. The record we keep of that call is metering data — which model, how long, what it cost — not a second copy of what you asked or what came back. Which provider handles a given request can vary by plan tier, and we choose vendors on the strength of their data-handling terms for professional work. A vendor's retention window is that vendor's own commitment, not one we can make on its behalf on this page. If your work is NDA-governed and you need that commitment in writing before you send anything, ask us and we will confirm the specific terms in force for your account first.

Who at HQ can see your account, when, and why

Platform staff — the internal team that runs Titrate — can open an account's billing and administrative record to help with support or operations. That access is real, and it is not gated behind your approval: an internal operator can read across accounts by design, the way support at any platform can. What we add is accountability, and it is enforced by the database rather than by policy. Opening a view of your workspace requires a written reason — a sentence, not a word — it expires automatically within two hours, and ending it early is recorded as a distinct act from letting it lapse. Every one of those records carries who, why, when it started and when it ended, and you can read them yourself on your own account: they are not ours alone to see. "Even us at HQ" is something you can check rather than take on our word.

Contact

Titrate is pre-launch, so the fastest way to reach us today is to reply to the waitlist confirmation email — a person reads every reply. A dedicated privacy contact address will be published here before the first practitioner cohort opens.

Questions

Is my research used to train any AI model?

No. A question you ask is sent to a model provider to generate your answer and for nothing else — not to train that provider's models, not to train ours.

Can platform staff read the research I've written?

Yes, by design — internal staff privileges are broad, the same way a platform team supports every account. What changes here is not a new restriction; it's the record. Staff access to your account's billing and administrative views is logged, and you can see that log on your own account. A narrower, pre-authorization gate is something we are evaluating for later; today, transparency is the mechanism.

Do you sell or share my data with third parties?

No. It is not sold, and it is not shared for anyone else's marketing. The only outside party that ever sees a research question is the AI model provider generating the answer to it, for that purpose only.

What happens to my data if I close my account?

Honestly: there is no self-serve deletion flow yet. Email us and we will remove your account data by hand. An automatic, scheduled purge is planned before Titrate leaves pre-launch, and this page will say so the day it ships.

Will this policy change before launch?

Probably, at least in wording — Titrate has no customers yet, and this page will be reviewed by counsel before the first cohort opens. Any change is dated on this page, the same discipline every other claim on this site follows.
