What it costs, and where it stops.

Titrate is pre-launch and nothing on this page is for sale yet. These are the launch prices, published now so you can decide with the numbers in hand: a free tier that runs on your first question, two paid tiers priced against the research tools a practitioner would otherwise buy, and a team tier. Every tier carries a monthly allowance, stops when it is spent, and tells you how to get more.

Titrate is pre-launch. What is described here is what it is being built to do, with Jeff Casebolt, PhD (ABD).

The central question

Does the barbell hip thrust produce superior gluteus maximus development — measured either as acute EMG activation or as chronic hypertrophy — compared to the back squat?

Launch prices

Four tiers, published before they can be bought.

Decided on 9 September 2026 and dated so you can hold us to them. The line between tiers is what you are trying to do — check a claim, build a library, publish under your name, do it as a team — not how good the answers are. Every tier gets the same citations, the same stance mix, and the same hard stop.

Free

Someone checking a claim

$0for as long as you like

Ten quick runs a day on the fast model, and a report where every citation resolves to a record you can check. Enough to see whether the discipline is real before you pay for the depth.

  • 10 quick research runs a day, on the fast model
  • 5 trial standard or deep runs, once
  • 1 field, 3 subjects in your tree
  • 50 sources in your library, with DOI lookup and extraction
  • 20 chat turns a day
  • Hard stop at the cap, with the reset time shown

Starter

A practitioner building their own library

$19per month

$190 a year — ten months for twelve

The balanced model, twenty runs a month, and a library that keeps the paper attached to the position. Deep runs on the frontier model are a wallet top-up away, priced at cost, never on an invoice you did not see coming.

  • 20 standard research runs a month
  • Quick runs without a cap, within fair use
  • 5 fields, unlimited questions
  • 500 sources, with journal scores and the stance mix
  • 200 chat turns a month
  • Opinions drafted with your weights
  • Drafts in all six content formats
  • Wallet top-up at cost for more runs, any depth

The whole loop

Professional

Someone whose name goes on the output

$49per month

$490 a year — ten months for twelve

A $25 monthly balance that buys runs at cost at any depth, with the model chosen per run and the cost shown before it starts. Then the part nobody else sells: courses, digests to a list that is yours, and translation, under your byline.

  • $25 of research runs a month, any depth, any model
  • Per-run model choice with a cost preview
  • Unlimited fields and sources, within fair use
  • 1,000 chat turns a month
  • Opinions, translated
  • Courses, and digests to your subscribers
  • 2,000 subscribers included, then a stated step, never a wall
  • Wallet top-up at cost past the balance

Team

A clinic, a department, a media brand

$99per month

$990 a year — ten months for twelve

Five seats over one pooled balance and one shared library, with opinions reviewed together before anything goes out. Extra seats are $15 each. Everything in Professional, shared.

  • 5 seats, then $15 a month per extra seat
  • $50 of pooled research runs a month, any depth
  • Shared tree, shared library, shared review of opinions
  • 5,000 chat turns a month, pooled (working figure)
  • 5,000 subscribers pooled, then the same step
  • Brand tags and multiple senders
  • Wallet top-up at cost past the pool

Enterprise

Custom seats, pooled credits on an invoice with a cap, and whatever procurement needs. Nothing about the meter changes: the stop is still a stop, and it still says what happens next.

Talk to us, via the waitlist

Nothing here is for sale yet. Joining the waitlist costs nothing and commits you to nothing; these are the prices the first practitioner cohort will see when checkout opens. A number that changes before then changes on this page, with the date.

What each tier holds

The allowances, as numbers.

Structural limits read as up to N. Monthly allowances reset on your billing date. You see the number once here, again on your account, and a notice when you are close — never a bar ticking down while you work.

Decided 9 September 2026. Figures marked as working are set when checkout opens; everything else is the launch number.

Titrate is pre-launch. The allowance gate, the wallet and the cost preview exist in the product today; the plans that sell them do not yet, and this page says so rather than implying otherwise.

Two meters, and a stop that says what next.

Two things are counted, and they are counted separately because they answer different worries. The research allowance is about compute: a flat monthly number, or a credit balance, that a run draws down — you are shown the estimated cost before the run starts, and a run the balance cannot cover is refused rather than overdrawn. Subscriber reach is about audience: a count that steps up at stated breakpoints the way newsletter platforms do, and never a wall you hit mid-growth. When either meter reaches its end, the screen says what happens next — the date the allowance resets, or the top-up that keeps you going — and the answer is never an invoice you did not see coming.

The mechanism, in full

Questions

Why is there a price on a product that is not for sale yet?

Because deciding it and hiding it would be stranger than publishing it. The tiers were decided on 9 September 2026 against the prices of the tools they replace, and a practitioner weighing the waitlist deserves the number, not a promise of one. Nothing is for sale: the waitlist is still the only thing to join, there is no card to enter, and if a figure changes before checkout opens it changes here, dated.

What happens when the allowance runs out?

The next run is refused, and the screen tells you two things: when the allowance resets, and how to keep going now. Keeping going means a wallet top-up — a prepaid balance that buys runs at cost, at any depth. The wallet stops at zero by construction; there is no overdraft and no overage line on a bill. This is the part of the category people leave over, so it is stated here rather than in the small print.

Which model runs my question?

On Free and Starter, the fast and balanced lanes by default — a quick run costs about a cent to serve, which is what makes a real free tier possible. Deep runs on the frontier model are reachable from Starter through the wallet and are included in Professional's balance, where you pick the model per run and see the estimated cost before it starts. Every lane returns the same kind of report: claims that resolve to a record with a DOI, or to nothing.

Why is Team $99 rather than five times Professional?

Because five people do not run five times the research. Team pools one $50 balance, one tree and one library across five seats, and adds the thing a solo plan cannot have: opinions reviewed together before they go out. Extra seats are $15 a month. If five people each need their own full balance, five Professional plans are the honest answer, and this page will not pretend otherwise.

How does the subscriber count work?

Professional includes 2,000 subscribers. Past that the plan steps up at stated breakpoints — the working figure is $10 a month per additional 2,500, prorated — and it never blocks a send or freezes a list. Digest delivery is not built yet; the subscriber list and the compose step are. When delivery ships, the step table ships with it, on this page, dated.

Is there an annual price?

Ten months for twelve: $190, $490 and $990 a year for Starter, Professional and Team. That is the same shape as the tools a practitioner already pays for, and it is the whole discount — no launch price that expires, no perpetual countdown.
